BENEFITS OF System Built
-
System built home construction
offers substantial benefits over conventional
“stick-built” construction.
-
System built homes are built
similar to conventional “stick-built” homes with all the
same materials, styles, amenities, and flexible design
options; the primary difference is where they are built
– modular homes are built in a climate controlled
environment.
-
System built construction will
save you TIME because while the home is built in our
factory, your general contractor simultaneously begins the
site work and completes the foundation.
-
Climate-controlled,
quality-controlled, construction results in minimal weather
delays. Building materials are protected from exposure
to the elements, and offer greater quality through
standardized procedures and on-going factory based
inspections. “Stick-built” homes can take months to
complete, often compromising the materials with wear, tear,
and warping caused by exposure to wind, rain, snow, and
extremes in temperature. Modular homes are generally
weather- tight the day the home is set on the foundation,
which allows the materials to stay dry, minimizing potential
problems with mold and mildew.
-
System built homes contain more
building materials than comparable “stick-built” homes,
which provides added strength for transport and the crane
set.
-
Our system built home come with
a 10-year warranty on the structure, along with the
standard one-year total warranty. Many of our product
suppliers offer additional warranties. Most builders of
“stick-built” homes only offer a one-year total warranty.
-
System
built
are financed & appraised the same as
conventional “stick-built” homes.
